In what might be one of the most forgettable title runs ever, Mickey Bey who got a highly disputed decision over Miguel Vasquez has vacated his IBF lightweight title since he doesn’t want to make a defense in Macau, China. Bey would of had to face Denis Shafikov who is currently the number one contender. Looking at the most recent rankings from the IBF, Emiliano Marsili would be the next contender in line for a shot at the vacant title, but nothing has been made official.
