Per Adam Abramowitz of Saturday Night Boxing, Japan’s Kazuto Ioka captured the WBA flyweight belt by scoring a majoirity decision (115-113, 116-113, 114-114) over defending champ Juan Carlos Reveco from Argentina over twelve close rounds on Wednesday in Osaka, Japan. The fight was regarded as highly entertaining with some still reluctant to give it a shot due to the size of the fighters.

This is the third title for Ioka in his third division.
