On Saturday, August 1st, super flyweight Bruno “Aloha Kid” Escalante 13-1-1 (6 KO) returns to the ring after over year layoff due to injury of his left hand. He will fight an opponent TBA. In his fight last April 5, 2014 at Cache Creek Casino Resort against Victor Ruiz who was 14-2 (10 KO) at the time of the fight, Escalante defended his IBA Bantamweight Title. Escalante fought for seven brave rounds with a broken left hand and still went on to win a unanimous decision over Ruiz. After two surgeries and countless hours of physical therapy, Escalante is ready to return to the ring.

“I am anxious to return to the ring!” stated Bruno Escalante of Redwood City, CA by way of Cebu, Philippines. “I have been training hard since my hand has been cleared by the doctor and I am ready to put it to the test.” Escalante also stated, “I have a lot of catching up to do! Can’t wait to be back and pick up where I left off.”

The show will also feature five more exciting local fighters.

Escalante vs TBA headline a night of world-class professional championship boxing presented by Don Chargin Productions and Paco Presents Boxing. Doors open at 6:00 pm, the first bell rings at 7:00 pm.
