Margarito hints at return at age 37

Antonio Margarito told ESPN Deportes that he is back to training that the junior middleweight and middleweight division have interesting fights for him. Margarito who has been out of the ring for 42 months, or in terms people can actually understand 3 1/2 years with his last bout being a loss to Miguel Cotto.

A mega-fight with Manny Pacquiao was essentially the reason for Margarito’s retirement as he suffered serious damage to his eye, that same damage was the reason the Miguel Cotto fight was stopped early. Margarito claims that his eye is 100% percent healthy and that if his family is willing that the 37 year-old boxer would be willing to return to the ring.
