Andy Vences opens Fox Sports 1 telecast on Friday Night in Salinas, CA

Super-featherweight Andy Vences (11-0 7KOs) of San Jose, CA is facing his biggest test of his career on the biggest stage as well opening a Friday night Fox Sports 1 telecast of ‘Golden Boy Live’ against Golden Boy Promotions fighter Santiago Guevara (8-1 3KOs). Vences who changed camps last summer to the Los Gallos Boxing Academy in Stockton, CA has been pleased with the results working under coaching of Gabriel Flores Sr. Vences is also currently riding a five fight knockout streak and all finishes since switching trainers.

 

“…[Guevara] likes to get in their exchange punches, he takes a good punch and switch left to right hand…” Vences said a month ago in an exclusive interview with ITRBoxing.com. “…people can expect excitement since I know he will come to me.” Vences furthered. Vences also dropped one gem in the interview explaining that if Guevara switches stances that he thinks he might switch with him.
