Lock turns back time stopping Miskirtchian in ESPN3 main event

One time Floyd Mayweather sparring partner, featherweight Cornelius Lock (23-7-2, 15 KOs) scored a spectacular third round KO over former IBF world title challenger Alex Miskirtchian (25-4-1, 9 KOs) on Tuesday night at the outdoor MCU Park baseball stadium on Coney Island in New York City to revamp his career. In what was very surprising bout Lock outclassed Miskirtchain for the first two rounds before stopping him late in the third round. Lock is best remembered for losing a close decision to Daniel Ponce De Leon on Floyd Mayweather-Shane Mosley PPV undercard.

Irish Olympic medalist John Joe Nevin (4-0, 3 KOs) scored a third round TKO over Victor Capaceta (4-8, 2 KOs) in a bantamweight clash. Capaceta complained of punches to the back of the head refusing to get off his stool, forcing the ref to stop the bout.
