WBC super-featherweight champ, Japanese southpaw Takashi “Bomber” Miura (29-2-2, 22 KOs) will defend his belt against number one contender Francisco Vargas (22-0-1, 16 KOs) in Las Vegas on November 21 at the Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino. The fight which was official announced by Miura’s promoter,Teiken, pits potentially the two best fighters in the division not named Mikey Garcia against each other. The title defense will serve as one of the undercard bouts for Miguel Cotto vs. Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, which will be shown on pay-per-view.
