Quillin-Jacobs official for Dec. 5th in Brooklyn, NY

On tonight’s Showtime PPV it was officially announced what had been long speculated that Peter “Kid Chocolate” Quillin would face Daniel “The Miracle Man” Jacobs on December 5th in Brooklyn, NY. The bout which will be broadcast on Showtime Championship Boxing will be a clash for the best middleweight not named Gennady Golovkin.

Quillin who horrifically knocked out Michael Zerafa via fifth round knockout that saw Zerafa ended his night in the hospital, took to the microphone afterwards to call out the outspoken Danny Jacobs who has lobbied for a Quillin fight for quite sometime.

“Now [it is] time for Brooklyn to see me and Danny Jacobs…We can do it right here if you want to take off that suit and put on those gloves” said Quillin. Quillin also explained that he is back in camp on Monday.

Jacobs on the other hand stated his pride in his Brownsville, New York residency at one time in his life stating “In the sport of boxing you don’t make too many friends.”

“They call me the ‘Miracle Man’. It’s no secret that I have motivation to be the best I can be. Come December 5, Brooklyn is going to have a new star.”
