Per Michael Woods (a credible boxing source who works for several media outlets) that Danny Garcia will return on January 23rd to face Robert Guerrero on Fox, the big network. The bout serves as one that is not thrilling to the casual boxing fan, but also not terrible.

Garcia is coming off a sleepy 2015 in which he fought two times once against LaMont Peterson in an ugly fight many felt he lost and then against an outgunned Paulie Malignaggi. Guerrero on the other hand faced tough opposition facing both Keith Thurman and at the time little known Aron Martinez, who knocked Guerrero down.

The contest will also be a battle of the fighter’s fathers serve as their coaches, which likely lead to some antics.
