Though the first bout might have gone to a draw Anthony Crolla(30-4-3, 12 KOs) left no room for debate with a fifth round knockout of Derleys Perez (32-2-1, 20 KOs) on Saturday night at the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England. Crolla dominated from the early moments of the bout, but sealed the deal with a left hook to the body that had Perez down for the count.

Crolla is now the WBA lightweight champion winning the title in his hometown of Manchester, England
