Fighter of the year nominee of 2015 and IBF super middleweight titleholder James DeGale (22-1, 14 KOs) may have already found his first challenge of 2016. The IBF has ordered that DeGale must defend his belt within the next couple of months against 25-year-old Jose Uzcategui (24-1, 20 KOs).

Uzcategui was last seen coming off a second round TKO stoppage over previously unbeaten Julius Jackson last October on Fox Sports 1 in his first fight against top level competition since dropping a disappointing unanimous decision to Matt Korobov in 2014.
