Proud to announce on May 7th, 2016 @canelo will return to the ring to face @amirkingkhan #CaneloKhanhttps://t.co/p9Pm7oVN8s

The bout will serve as an interesting fight as Khan had limited experience at 147 lbs and spent the majority of his career at 140 lbs. as he will move up to 155 lbs. to face one of the best guys in the “division” (technically a catchweight).
Some of the more interesting tweets are the narrative being told this morning that Khan didn’t talk with Hayon in order to get the fight.
Told by @OscarDeLaHoya that he didn't speak with Al Haymon in making @Canelo @AmirKingKhan and doubts this changes their icy relationship.
