Female featherweight Amanda Serrano won the vacant WBO title on Wednesday night when she defeated Canada’s Olivia Gerula at BB King Blues Club & Grill in Times Square, NYC. Serrano destroyed Gerula who was stopped with in the first two minutes of the bout.  With the victory Serrano garners another championship for her storied boxing career.

The fight was the main event of the latest edition of promoter Lou DiBella’s “Broadway Boxing.”
