DeGale-Medina ordered, could end up on Martin-Joshua card

Super middleweight world champion James DeGale has a new mandatory challenger in Rogelio “Porky” Medina, better known as the guy who knocked out J’Leon Love.

DeGale (22-1, 14 KOs) who made his first title defense against Lucian Bute on Nov. 28. Jose Uzcategui (24-1, 20 KOs) was the number one contender, but due to a staph infection was unable to get healthy in time. The next available foe in the IBF rankings is “Porky” Medina (36-6 30KOs).

The strong rumor right now is that the bout will end up on the Charles Martin-Anthony Joshua heavyweight clash from the O2 Arena in London.
