Fury-Klitschko rematch set for July 9th in Manchester

Though the bout has not been officially announced, an agreement between Tyson Fury and Wladimir Klitschko for the WBA and WBO heavyweight titles to take place in Manchester on July 9 has been confirmed to The Independent.

The long-awaited rematch that has been in talks since Klitschko lost is title in Dusseldorf in November of last year, his first loss in the past 11 years. Though, a rough bout on the eyes to watch and Fury channeling his inner “John Ruiz” in order to win, the bout has meaningful implications for the rest of the heavyweight division, one that is soaring as of late with the edition of Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder to the division.
