Chris Eubank Jr signs with Matchroom, again

Former world champion Chris Eubank Jr (22-1, 17 KOs) has found himself a new promoter, well somewhat. Eubank signed with Matchroom Boxing, a promotion that Eubank worked with in the past and his bout under the new contract will be at The O2 Arena in London on June 25.

Eubank left Matchroom last year after losing a purse bid to Mick Hennessy of Hennessy Sports, Eubank would then fight Nick Blackwell under Hennessy’s promotional company. The fight left infamous impression as Blackwell nearly died after the bout.

Eubank Jr will find himself on the undercard of the Anthony Joshua-Dominic Breazeale fight on pay-per-view in the United Kingdom and on Showtime Sports in the United States
