Casimero upsets Ruenroeng for IBF Flyweight title

In a rematch of year’s past, John Riel Casimero (22-3, 14 KOs) pulled off a major upset dethroning IBF flyweight champion Anmat Ruenroeng (17-1, 5 KOs) with a fourth round KO to claim the IBF world title on Wednesday night at the Diamond Court in Beijing, China. Casimero dropped Ruenroeng twice in round four the second Ruenroeng would never recover from.

The day prior Ruenroeng came in five pounds over weight, losing his title on the scale.
