In an upset of sorts Dashon Johnson (21-19-3-1, 6 KOs) took a unanimous decision over DeCarlo Perez (15-5-1, 5 KOs) in Philly tonight at the 2300 Arena. Johnson, an underdog leading into the fight dropped Perez in the first and eighth round of the bout. Despite the fight being close, Johnson managed to edge the bout which could give him another crack at upsetting the apple card. The final scores were 76-74, 77-73 and 78-72, all for Johnson.
