Last week Brooke Mayo won the 135 lbs. CAMO state title with a third round stoppage win over Mayra Mello Mazza, who is a student of famed grappler Gabi Garcia. Mayo, a highly decorated athlete is now rated as the best women’s mixed martial artist in California after the win.

Mayo is currently 5-1 in her amateur mixed martial arts career and trains with Team Black in the East Bay Area region in give or take the Antioch area.
