Well, the last remaining hope for Chad Dawson fans may have left with an injury derailing the once pound-for-pound fighters career once again. Dawson (34-4 19KOs) was suppose to face Eleider Alvarez (19-0 10KOs), the number one contender for the WBC light-heavyweight title, it was somewhat assumed the winner would challenge the winner of the main event Adonis Stevenson and Thomas Williams Jr.

Dawson pulled out of this bout with a shoulder injury.

The main event on the card at the Videotron Centre in Quebec City is WBC light heavyweight champion Adonis “Superman” Stevenson (27-1, 22 KOs) against challenger Thomas “Top Dog” Williams (20-1, 14 KOs) and will be broadcast on Spike TV.
