Andy Ruiz tops stacked September 10th card in Lemoore, CA

One of the best cards of the year touches down at Tachi Palace Casino and Resort in Lemoore, CA on September 10th on a card that will be broadcast nationally on UniMas and promoted by Top Rank.

The card is headlined by heavyweight prospect Andy Ruiz taking on one-time prospect Franklin Lawrence in a ten-round bout. The co-main event will feature Ray Beltran taking on Tomas Mendez, who last fought at the same venue against Jose Ramirez, a bout that he lost by KO.

The television card is rounded out by Daniel Valdivia taking on Gilberto Pereira dos Santos in a television swing bout.

The undercard is headlined by middleweight grudge match between local favorite Joe Louie Lopez, who is coming off a 12 second upset loss, taking on another local prospect Quilisto “Kilo the Kid” Madera in a fight that even Andre Ward felt the need to weigh-in on. Welterweight Arturo Marquez will face Curtis Walker, Jennifer Tate will take on Tony Fisher in a women’s lightweight bout as well

The depth does not stop there as Novato, CA’s welterweight Rudy Macedo who trains with Abe Morones in Oakland, CA will be on the card, Fresno’s own welterweight Saul Lomas will be in action as well as super lightweight Ector Madera and bantamweight Brent Venegas III of Sacramento, all of whom do not have opponent as of yet.
