Flores impresses, Ugas upsets on ESPN

Featherweight Miguel Flores (21-0, 9 KOs) furthered his unbeaten ways over former prospect Ryan Kielczweski (25-2, 7 KOs) on Friday night at the Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, New York. The fight saw Flores up big early, but the power of Kielczweski evening up the fight and nearly upsetting the prospect as he finished strong. The judges saw the bout 97-93, 96-94, 96-94.

Yordenis Ugas (16-3, 7 KOs) revived his career after beating welterweight prospect Jamal James (20-1, 9 KOs). James, a late-minute replacement who NYSAC wouldn’t commission appeared outclassed by the former Olympian, Ugas. The judges saw the bout 99-91, 98-92 and 96-94.

This was also the last Premier Boxing Champions contracted card.
