Manny Pacquiao not on HBO, ESPN in play?

Hall of Fame promoter Bob Arum says that the November 5 date for Manny Pacquiao’s return to the ring against WBO welterweight champion Jessie Vargas will continue despite HBO pulling the plug on the fight. Arum, who spoke to the LA Times that Manny Pacquiao is now a free agent and that HBO may now be out of the picture if Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao rematch in 2017.

Rumors have circulated that ESPN is very interested in picking up the fight, it is unclear whether it would be pay-per-view or network television.

HBO declined the bout based off an over-saturation of pay-per-views as Canelo is fighting Liam Smith on September 17th and Andre Ward versus Sergey Kovalev on November 19th, both which will be on pay-per-view.
