Prenice Brewer returns Saturday in PA

Bizzarro Promotions returns this Saturday, September 3rd at the Presque Isle Downs & Casino in Erie, PA with a main event featuring Bay Area transplant Prenice “Greatness” Brewer (17-4-1, 6 KOs) taking on game spoiler Justin “Baby Boy” Johnson (6-12-6) in a six-round welterweight contest. 

Brewer, an amateur standout and National Golden Gloves champion owns victories over several previously undefeated fighters including, Michael Jean Louis (9-0, 8 KOs) and Emmanuel Taylor (14-0, 10 KOs). Brewer, relocated over the past year and a half to the Bay Area as he is now training at Undisputed Boxing Gym in San Carlos, CA.

Johnson is a better foe then his record suggests as he is coming off two draws against a former prospect in Wilkins Santiago as well as a not so great draw against a journeyman James Robinson

The undercard will feature some of the rising prospects in the region, competing in scheduled four-round contests.

Undefeated welterweight Daywuan Roseberry of Cleveland, Ohio (2-0, 2 KOs) will battle it out with fellow Ohio native Terrell Houston (0-1).

Ohio light heavyweight knockout artist Roy Barringer (3-0, 3 KOs) will tangle with the Georgia’s Hakeem Atkinson (2-4, 1 KO).

If heavyweights are your bag of choice, then get ready to be entertained when Ontario, Canada’s Bradley Hamil makes his professional debut against Idris “Grumpy Bear” Wasi (1-0, 1 KO) of Sacramento, California.

Undefeated middleweights, Isaiah Steen (3-0, 3 KOs) and Fred Wilson Jr. (1-0, 1 KO) will be fighting in separate four-round contests against opponents to be announced.

Opening the show, will be the professional debut of Robert James Thomas from Ontario, Canada who will duke it out with Antwaun Taylor (1-3) of Cincinnati, OH, the son of former WBA world champion Tony Tubbs.
