Diego De La Hoya defeats Del Valle in PPV opener

In the opening bout of the undercard of Canelo versus Liam Smith, saw Diego De La Hoya (16-0 9KOs) defeated Luis Orlando Del Valle (22-3 16KOs) in a somewhat packed AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
De La Hoya found a home for the overhand right early and often. Del Valle adjusted and appeared to be on his way to make a fight of things until De La Hoya was able to get a rhythm and simply outbox the game Puerto Rican, Del Valle.
The judges saw the bout 100-90, 99-91 and 99-91 all for Diego De La Hoya
