SF’s Ricardo Pinell in action Friday in Washington

San Francisco’s Ricardo Pinell (14-2-1, 8 KOs) returns to the ring this Friday as he takes on  Dashon “Fly Boy” Johnson (21-20-3, 6 KOs), of Escondido, California, and San Francisco’s Ricardo Pinell (14-2-1, 8 KOs) will meet in a scheduled ten round bout this Friday at the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma, Washington, capping off Brian Halquist Productions’ 109th edition of the long running “Battle at the Boat” series.

Pinell, who trains with Eddie Croft of B. St Boxing is a game southpaw who is a two-time San Francisco Golden Gloves winner. Pinell is known for his dynamic punching power and ability to land cleanly based off deception.

Pinell has sparred Andre Berto, Willie Nelson, Amir Khan and many others over the past two years and is looking to make a run in the junior middleweight title
