Manzanarez, Gamez win on LA Fight Club card

Mexican lightweight Robert Manzanarez (34-1, 28 KO’s) won his U.S. debut by way of  fourth round knockout over veteran Gamaliel Diaz (40-16-3, KOs) on Friday night at the Belasco Theater in downtown Los Angeles as Golden Boy Promotions LA Fight Club returned on the Boxeo Estelar on Estrella TV main event. Manzanarez landed a left uppercut in the fourth round that stopped Diaz.

San Diego’s Genaro Gamez (4-0, 3 KOs ) won a unanimous decision over Alejandro Ochoa (7-13 KO’s) in the super lightweight division. All the judges saw the bout 60-54.

Super lightweight Luis Feliciano (1-0) made his professional debut in a a six rounder as he nearly went life or death with Angel Rodriguez (5-8-3) to start to the broadcast.
