Eddie Diaz vs Luis Garcia II August 19th in Pleasanton, CA

Though no official signage has been posted on the internet it appears Square Warriors Entertainment now has a main event as junior welterweight Eddie Diaz (3-6-3 1KO), who is undefeated in 2017, will face the many he technically knocked out in January in Eddie Diaz.

Sources close to the situation confirmed the bout will happen though it is unclear whether the promotions junior welterweight title will be on the line, though it seems logical it would.

Luis Garcia was upset by Eddie Diaz in January of this year by way of second round TKO. Garcia changed coaches as he went from Jairo Escobar to Filemon Contreras, who trains out of Garcia’s hometown Richmond, CA.

Eddie Diaz, a perennial hard luck fighter, who has had to fight the toughest opponents to date on a regular basis. Diaz has revived his career by coming to up north as he defeated Luis Garcia and got a draw with Jhonathan Zamudio.

The fight will take place at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, CA.
