Jermall Charlo stops Jorge Sebastian Heiland

Jermall Charlo (26-0 20KOs) picked up his first win in the middleweight division by stopping Jorge Sebastian Heiland (29-5-2 16KOs) in the television opener from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

The fight was all Charlo, who floored Heiland in the second round with his signature right uppercut and again in the fourth round.

The final knockdown in the fourth was so devastating that Heiland could not get up.

With this win, Charlo is the mandatory challenger for the WBC middleweight title which is being contested between Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin on September 16th
