Oscar Valdez edges Genesis Servania after being dropped

WBO featherweight champion Oscar Valdez (23-0, 19 KOs) record his second fight of the year performance with the unanimous decision over Genesis Servania (29-1, 12 KOs) on Friday night at the Tucson Convention Center in Tucson, Arizona.

Valdez, who was fighting in his adoptive hometown and seemed on the path to a clear win when Servania dropped him in the fourth. In the fourth and following round, Valdez would drop Servania making the fight memorable, the two would sit in the pocket and exchange for the remainder with the judges seeing the fight 116-110, 119-111, 117-109.
