Jose Ramirez annihilates Mike Reed in two rounds, Amir Imam next

Avenal, CA’s Jose Ramirez (21-0 16KOs) made quick work of fellow undefeated junior welterweight Mike “Yes Indeed” Reed (23-1 12KOs) in the main event at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, CA in Fresno, CA in front of a sold-out crowd.

It was all Jose Ramirez who took the middle of the ring and pushed Reed back early and often at the end of the first round Reed’s legs buckled, but he survived the round. The second was not the case as Ramirez dropped Reed on the ropes and finished the job seconds later. The time of the stoppage was 1:43.

Jose Ramirez will now face Amir Imam for WBC junior welterweight title early next in presumably Fresno, CA.
