Maricela “La Diva” Cornejo (8-2 2KOs) returns this Thursday in Cancun, Mexico on the undercard of a Golden Boy Promotions card headlined by Jose Martinez vs. Jesus Martinez in the junior bantamweight division.

Cornejo is facing Irais Hernandez (2-0 2KOs), who is not just undefeated, but won every one of her bouts by KO.

Also on the card is highly rated prospect Vergil Ortiz Jr.
