Christopher Diaz, Shakur Stevenson and Conlan win on ESPN

Super featherweight Christopher “Pitufo” Diaz (22-0, 14 KOs) looked against Bryant “Pee Wee” Cruz(18-3, 9 KOs) , who took the fight on a week and a half’s notice as Casey Ramos was hurt in sparring and pulled out of the bout. Diaz dropped Cruz in the first round, twice in the second round and finished him off in the third round. After the bout, Diaz said he would like Miguel Marriaga or Oscar Valdez

U.S. Olympic silver medalist Shakur Stevenson (4-0, 2 KOs)  defeated Oscar Mendoza (4-3, 1 KO)  via second-round technical knockout in the first televised bout portion of the ESPN card taking place from New York City, New York a. Stevenson was much sharper and landed the telling blows start to finish, the bout was stopped early, but no one would object as it was a mercy stoppage since Mendoza had little resistance to offer.

Michael Conlan(5-0, 4 KOs) picked up a six round decision win over Luis Fernando Molina (4-4-1 1KO in a featherweight fight.
