Brandon Robinson, Raeese Aleem win in Philly
In the main event at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA, super middleweight Brandon Robinson (10-1, 7 KOs) picked up a hard-fought eight round decision over Oscar Riojas (16-9-1, 5 KOs). Robinson dropped Riojas in the first, but Riojas a true veteran of the sport knew how to survive and spoil the affair for Robinson. The judges scored the one-sided fight for Robinson, 80-71 and 79-72 twice.
The co-main event saw junior featherweight Raeese Aleem (11-0, 5 KOs) pick up an eight round unanimous decision win over Marcus Bates (8-1-1, 7 KOs). Aleem floored Bates with a right hand in the first round and keep him off track for the remainder of the fight. Bates seemed unable to put punches to together only throwing a jab after getting dropped. The judges saw it 80-71 and 79-72 twice for Aleem.
