Ruben Villa headlines Salinas, CA card tomorrow, amongst other Nor-Cal fighters

Featherweight Ruben Villa (13-0 5KOs) fight in his hometown of Salinas, Ca for the second time in his career, this Saturday as he headlines a card promoted by Thompson Boxing from the Storm House in the aforementioned, Salinas, Ca.

Villa, an Olympic alternate in 2016, will be in his fourth eight-round bout in his short professional career. Villa will face Miguel Carrizoza, a man who fought his stablemate Michael Dutchover last year.

Villa is personally one of my favorite fighters in boxing right now, to get know more about Villa watch this video

The undercard features a helping of local talent as former Vacaville PAL fighter Max Becerra is looking to get another win to inch himself closer to opportunity against a prospect as well as lightweight Pedro Moreno of Sacramento, Ca will return to action, both fighters are in six-round bouts and both are fan-friendly fighters who are looking to trade leather.

2012 U.S. Olympic alternate Eros Correa will look to get his professional boxing career going as the uber-talented fighter has had trouble staying active as he has had only one fight, and that fight didn’t even last one round. Mike Bazzel and Bruno Escalante prodigy, super featherweight Arnold Dinong will fight for the second time in his career and Napa, Ca’s Brandon Trejo looks to rebound from his lone career loss as he will return to action.
