BOXING CARD THIS FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 16TH IN SACRAMENTO, CA

This Friday from Uppercut Promotions will put on another fight from their flagship venue DoubleTree Hotel across from the Arden Fair Mall in Sacramento, Ca.

The card which features popular Santa Rosa, CA cruiserweight “Magic” Mike Russell (3-0 2KOs) taking on Alfredo Contreras in a six-round bout, Contreras recently just fought popular Sacramento, Ca cruiserweight Blake “The Beast” McKernan, welterweight David Melgoza (2-0 1KO) will face Edgar Garcia in a six-round bout as well.

The most competitive bout of the evening comes by way of a four-round bout with Lennard “Cheetah” Davis (3-1-4 1KO), now training with Brian Russell, Mike Russell’s dad, in Santa Rosa, taking on Ruben Torres (3-0 1KO) of Sacramento, Ca, who trains with Ray Woods in a four-round fight in the welterweight division.

Malikai Johnson (2-0-1 2KOs), a popular up-and-comer from the Sacramento area who fights at the featherweight division will face Jose Luis Araiza, (32-22-2), man who has a lot more experience than himself as well as popular Vacaville, Ca featherweight Ivan Vergara (6-0) will face Corban Page (5-17-1) in a four-round bout.

Super featherweight Sergio Vega (pro debut) will face Somethonit Phoumychack (0-4) in his professional debut and welterweight Milton Ramirez faces Phillip Percy in his professional debut.

The card starts at 7:30 PM with doors opening between 6:30-7:00.

Tickets are $60, $75 and $100.
