Ryan Garcia returns March 30th in Indio, Ca

Internet sensation 20-year-old Ryan Garcia will return at lightweight on March 30th at the Fantasy Springs Casino and Resort to face Jose Lopez, a Puerto Rican fighter who has bounced between featherweight and lightweight over the past few years.

Garcia, a possible star-in-the-making for Golden Boy promotions has the following on the internet and has had solid performance up until last year when he faced his highest level of opposition. Garcia struggled against Jayson Velez and Carlos Morales, and promptly began training with Eddy Reynoso, longtime trainer of Canelo Alvarez, as his head coach and not his father Henry Garcia.

His first outing with Reynoso looked solid, but faced an awkward opponent who just made the fight bothersome. Garcia, now will look to return to an early knockout form to gain momentum into a world title fight as he has the world ranking and the fan support, he just needs to pass the eye test to get in that position.
