Tragic news circulated today as super featherweight Izzac Colunga (3-0 2KOs) will now be in a bigger fight than he ever was in the boxing ring after being the victim of a drive-by shooting in Riverside, Ca, on Sunday morning. The shooting left Colunga badly wounded, unable to move his arms and legs, seemingly ending his boxing career.

Colunga was inside a house at going away party when the gunfire happened, and was shot. Another person was hit by the bullet, but treated for only minor injuries.
