Anthony Joshua, Andy Ruiz make weight, Ruiz heaviest of career since 2012

The WBO, WBA and IBF world heavyweight title fight between the champion, Anthony Joshua, and six-week replacement opponent, Andy Ruiz Jr. is now official.

The biggest takeaway was Ruiz Jr.’s weight which was the highest it has been since 2012 when he fought Homero Fonseca. Ruiz weighed 268 lbs, which is four pounds more than his weight in April when he picked up a stoppage win over Alexander Dimitrenko.
