Toscano Boxing Promotions, the local Stockton, Ca start-up boxing company, has signed their first prospect from Mexico, getting Jose Alvarado.

Per an Instagram post, the promotion explains that Alvarado had an amateur record of 121 wins and 10 losses along with four national titles, four silver medals, and one bronze.

Toscano Boxing Promotions has focused mainly on Northern California boxing in the Latino community and now seems to be looking to make in ways into developing fighters from Mexico to build-up.

No word yet on Alvarado’s professional debut.
