Evgeny Shvedenko Wins WBC International Title, Trained By Croft in San Mateo, Ca

Evgeny Shvedenko in only his fifteenth pro fight is now the WBC international super middleweight champion making him a top-15 super middleweight in WBC’s rankings.

Shvedenko, who has been training with Eddie Croft at B. St Boxing, prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, has been estranged from his coach.

Shvedenko showed great skills in defeating Artur Osipov, today in Saint Petersburg, Russia, to pick up the title.

The current WBC super middleweight champion is Canelo Alvarez, which is the fight everyone wants, but also in this division is – Caleb Plant, David Benavidez, amongst others.

Shvedenko is one of the best guys who hasn’t gotten a chance on major television, and his no-non-sense attitude in the gym, sometimes makes it easy for me to forget how darn good he is, because he works hard and performs. Shvedenko will be in a big fight in the next two years.
