Amari Jones, A Role Model For Stockton Youth At Amateur Event

Amari Jones, ITRBoxing’s 2021 Prospect of the Year with under ten fights, was active this weekend, not in the ring, but by supporting fellow amateur boxers in Stockton, California.

Amari Jones continues to be a strong role model for the youth, and present when he can be, as he came in support of Francisco Lopez’s fight, to watch him compete in Stockton, CA.

For Jones, it is all about the youth, and it is about giving back whenever it is possible.

Jones, who recently improved his record to 8-0, with 7 KOs, going to a decision for the first time in his career against Tej Pratap Singh, fighting for the second time in Australia in his young career.

A representative for Amari Jones explained that “…the youth look up to Amari since his story is relatable, and seeing him training with one of the best fighters in the world, like Devin Haney inspires a slew of young fighters to make good decisions.”

Jones furthered that this will not be the last event he is apart of, and that as he continues to have success in boxing, he wants to give back often as well.
