Martin Murray has signed with Matchroom and moved up to super middleweight, 168 lbs with his first fight be scheduled in Liverpool on June 26 against the dreaded TBA.

The move up in weight sets up new match-ups for Murray as he could potentially face champions James DeGale who is also signed to Matchroom Boxing or even Andre Ward, who is facing Paul Smith, a Matchroom Boxing fighter.

Murray is coming off a 11th round TKO loss to Gennady Golovkin, before that he fought to a close and disputed decision loss with middleweight champion, Sergio Martinez
