Andy Vences visits ESPN and WBC in LA prior to July 9th bout

Top Rank Super Featherweight prospect Andy “El Tiburon” Vences of San Jose, CA took a trip to Los Angeles, CA for the day to do a brief media tour to promote his upcoming July 9th fight at Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino in Lemoore, CA.

Vences started his day by being interviewed and partaking in a photoshoot with the World Boxing Council, one of the four major sanctioning bodies in boxing, as he was featured on their live Facebook video (https://www.facebook.com/WBCBOXING/?fref=ts) as well as took part in a professional photoshoot in their LA office.

In the afternoon, Vences was featured on ESPN: Los Angeles as he was interviewed on ESPN Deportes’ “A Los Golpes” by veteran ESPN personality Bernardo Osuna. (http:// www.espn.com.mx/video/clip/_/id/2715446)

Vences, prior to these events threw out the first pitch for the San Jose Giants game earlier this month as well was featured at as a guest of honor for an amateur boxing event in Redwood City, CA.

Vences faces Moises Delgadillo (15-15-2 8KOs) of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico in the co-main event of the “Solo Boxeo” programing on July 9th broadcast by UniMas and promoted by Top Rank.
