Top super bantamweight prospect Diego De La Hoya (18-0, 9 KOs) scored a ten round unanimous decision over Erik Ruiz (16-7-1, 6 KOs) on Thursday night at the Casino Del Sol in Tucson, Arizona. De La Hoya won nearly every round with movement and superior boxing ability with the lone exception being the fourth round.

The judges saw the bout 100-90, 100-90, 99-91.

Super Middleweight prospect D’Mitrius “Big Meech” Ballard (17-0, 12 KOs) was heavily tested in a developmental fight as he picked up a ten round unanimous decision over late replacement Adrian Luna Flores (20-5-1, 13 KOs). In the second round Ballard knocked Luna down to the canvas, but Luna would come on very strong after the knockdown to nearly even up the fight.

The judges saw the bout 97-92, 95-94, 95-94.
