Jessie Vargas, John Molina and Jamal James win on FS1

After over a year layoff, two-division world champion Jessie Vargas (28-2, 10 KOs) made his return to the ring at the Pioneer Event Center in Lancaster, California as he outclassed Aaron Herrera (33-8-1, 22 KOs) in a welterweight bout. Vargas dropped Herrera in round six and picked up a decision with the scores of 100-89 all of the cards
Minnesota welterweight Jamal James (22-1, 10 KOs) picked up a third KO over fan favorite and career opponent st Diego Chaves (26-3-1, 22 KOs).

Super lightweight John Molina Jr (30-7, 24 KOs) may have just punched a ticket to another big fight after a fourth-round KO over Ivan Redkach (20-4-1, 16 KOs). Redkach dropped Molina at the end of round two as Redkach began to celebrate on the ropes before Molina was counted out. Molina would hurt Redkach at the end of the second round,
eventually stopping Redkach at the end of the fourth round.
