WBC super lightweight champion and Avenal, CA superstar Jose Ramirez will make his first title defense of his belt against veteran Danny O’Connor on July 7th, 2018 at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, CA.

Ramirez, a constant sell-out in the Central Valley is looking to make his fight on ESPN.

The undercard will feature the following bouts, welterweight Egidijus “The Mean Machine” Kavaliauskas taking on seasoned veteran, Juan Carlos Abreu in a ten-round bout, heavyweight Andy Ruiz Jr. will face Kevin Johnson will fight in a 10-round bout, super featherweight Andy Vences of San Jose, CA will take on game veteran Frank De Alba in a 10-round bout, Bryan Lua of Madera, CA will face Sergio Ramirez Martinez, lightweight Gabe Flores Jr. of Stockton, CA, hard-hitting super featherweight Joseph Adorno, bantaweight Santos Ortega and Ruben Rodriguez of Indio, CA will round out the card.
