ShoBox results: O’Shaquie Foster upsets Jon Fernandez
Veteran super featherweight O’Shaquie Foster (14-2 8KOs) proved to be too much of a step-up for 23-year-old Jon Fernandez (16-1 14KOs) of Spain who looked lost at times getting outboxed by Foster once he released his power wouldn’t take over in the main event of ShoBox: The Next Generation card from the Firelake Arena in Shawnne, Oklahoma. The fight was dictated by Fernandez’s power early, but the Veteran Foster stayed composed and won the latter half of the fight showing a lot of Fernandez’s flaws, mainly that he stands too upright and is out on his front foot.
The judges saw it 98-92 on all three cards, all for Foster
