“Inferno” Fundora wins on ShoBox

The unbeaten six-foot, seven-inch super welterweight Sebastian “The Towering Inferno” Fundora (13-0, 9 KOs) scored a fourth round TKO over previously unbeaten Manuel “Baby” Zepeda (17-1, 4 KOs) on Friday night at the WinnaVegas Casino in Sloan, Iowa, promoted. Fundora who is getting headlines for his height, showed off his ability to fight on the inside, as the pressure was too much for Zepeda.

Lightweight Michel Rivera (16-0, 10 KOs) picked up an eight-round decision over Rene Tellez Giron (13-1, 7 KOs). The scores were 78-73, 78-73 and 79-72 all for Rivera.

In a quintessential ShoBox bout, lightweight Yeis Solano (14-0, 10 KOs) scored an eight round split decision over Elias Damian Araujo (19-1, 7 KOs) in a fight that was close and competitive.

The judges saw the bout 78-73 and 76-75 for Solano with one judge scoring it 77-74 for Araujo.
