Today’s Olympic Trial bouts were elimination fights in which, the losers of yesterday’s bouts had to fight again to stay in the tournament since it is a double-elimination format. The losers of today’s bouts are now out of the tournament.

The biggest news of the day was number one seed in the 201-pound division, Adrian Tillman, who had qualified for both the 201 lbs and 178 lbs division, lost making him the first big-name contestant eliminated.

The losers of tomorrow’s bouts will face those who tonight on Thursday.

No bouts occurred in this division tonight as Michael Angeletti received a walkover against Ray Ray Robinson and Jose Nieves received a walkover against Fernando Martinez.

Francis Hogan received a walkover against Alexis Chaparro and Antonio Garcia defeated Alex Chrisholm by stoppage as Chrisholm suffered an injury in the third round that made him unable to continue.

Francis Oran defeated Amir Ghaffari Nikou and Nasheed Smith defeated Robert Magee.

In a mild upset, Brandon Moore beat Adrian Tillman and Devon Young defeated Cymone Kearney.

Pryce Taylor defeated Deandre Savage and Domonic Okopie defeated Dacarree Scott, both bouts were 5-0.

Melanie Costa received a walkover against Destiny Jasso, and Isamary Aquino received a walkover against Mikiah Kreps.
